Russia and Saudi Arabia to Increase Flights in 2026

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation is negotiating new routes

Russia and Saudi Arabia plan to increase the number of flights between the countries in 2026, according to the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, Andrey Nikitin. According to him, the growth of international destinations will also affect the Krasnodar airport, from where it is planned to expand flights to Saudi Arabia.

In addition, in 2026, Oman Air intends to increase the number of flights to Moscow and expand the geography of flights to St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Sochi. At the end of 2025, the carrier already began operating flights from the resort of Salala to Moscow.

According to Nikitin, Russia is actively negotiating to expand air services with all friendly countries, which makes it possible to count on a further increase in the number of international routes.

The expansion of air services opens up new opportunities for tourism and business, simplifies direct transport links and promotes the development of economic ties between countries.
