New Citymax 12 series buses, also known as LiAZ NG (L01R31), which arrived under the "Infrastructure" program, have begun operating on the lines in Nizhny Novgorod. Previously, only a pilot industrial model of this model was operated in the city.
On December 11, 2025, JSC "Nizhegorodpassazhavtotrans" received a new batch of vehicles for regular passenger transportation. The delivery included large-class buses — Citymax 12 L01R31 (2 units) and LiAZ-529265 (44 units), as well as medium-sized PAZ-320415-04 "Vector" buses (21 units) and PAZ-422320-04 CITYMAX 9 (15 units).
Before entering the routes, the vehicles underwent a set of preparatory procedures: registration with the traffic police, entry into the register of transportation licenses, registration of OSGOP policies, registration in the JSC "Glonass" system, maintenance TO-1000, branding and configuration of navigation equipment and route indicators. All buses are assigned to specific routes and drivers.
