The Scientific Research Center of Automotive Transport (NAMI) has registered a patent for a new version of the taillights for the premium Aurus Komendant SUV. Despite maintaining the same overall configuration of lighting elements, their internal graphics have undergone noticeable changes.
A public demonstration of the restyled Komendant version with updated lighting technology has not yet taken place, so the exact details of the design and technical solutions will only be known after the official presentation of the model.
According to available data, the development of new lights is being carried out within the framework of the state import substitution program. Previously, a similar transition had already been implemented on the Aurus Senat sedan: if before the modernization the taillights were supplied by an Italian company, then after the restyling their production was transferred to a Russian supplier. It is expected that the same thing will happen with Komendant - the car will receive localized optics.
