The first urban charging complex for electric vehicles has opened near the Volokolamskaya metro station in Moscow. This was announced by the Mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin.
The infrastructure is located in the intercept parking lot of the "Moscow Parking". Owners of electric vehicles have access to 18 charging stations with a capacity of up to 240 kW, they support all major types of connectors.
The charging complex is designed for 500 electric vehicles per day. Drivers can stay in a specially equipped recreation area at this time.
The software was developed by specialists of the Transport Complex.
The Mayor promised that this year the authorities will expand the network of charging stations. The projects will be implemented at the expense of the budget and with the support of commercial operators.
