Banking applications and marketplaces should be included in the "whitelist" of resources available when mobile Internet and communications are restricted. This was reported to TASS by the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina.
According to her, banking services, marketplaces, delivery services, as well as electronic journals and diaries used by schoolchildren should be added to the list. She emphasized that these resources are related to the basic needs of citizens.
Mizulina noted that mobile Internet restrictions could lead to job losses for those who use it for professional purposes. At the same time, she explained that such measures are being taken to ensure security.
The head of the Safe Internet League added that the public lacks clarification on this issue. She expressed hope that the authorities will openly inform citizens about the reasons for such decisions and their consequences.
