What information should not be transferred to third parties:

  • passport data or its photo
  • TIN
  • SNILS
  • access codes and passwords from SMS messages
  • address
  • real-time location
  • permanent route
  • phone numbers of relatives

You should not disclose confidential information in your social media profile, law enforcement officers warned. Sometimes, fraudsters only need a user's name, date of birth and phone number to guess the password to their social media account. And from there, you can extract other information useful to them. And these are not just numbers, but potential access to the victim's finances, the UBK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia summarized.
