The R. E. Alekseev Central Design Bureau for Hydrofoil Vessels has completed the assembly of the fourth Valdai 45R passenger air cushion vehicle (ACV) for the Saratov Region.
The new vessel is named "Politruk Klochkov" in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Vasily Klochkov. Upon completion of testing, the ACV will be sent to the Saratov Region to organize regular passenger transportation along the region's largest waterway.
Previously, in December 2025, the third Valdai 45R ACV - "General Panfilov" - was already delivered from Nizhny Novgorod to the city of Balakovo. This confirms the consistent implementation of the river passenger fleet modernization program using modern air cushion vehicles.
