Rostec expects to complete the certification of the import-substituted "Superjet" SJ-100 in the first half of 2026. This was announced by the head of the state corporation, Sergey Chemezov.
According to him, the certification of MC-21 is planned to be completed by the end of next year.
"Superjet", I hope, we will complete the certification in the first half of the year. Because we need to transfer 12 cars next year, already 12 new cars to airlines.
Chemezov added that passengers will fly on new domestic aircraft as early as next year.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov noted that MC-21-310 will reduce weight and increase flight range by approximately 1000 km by 2029.
