The capabilities of the "Tachanka" tactical buggy produced by KB "Good Iron" were tested near St. Petersburg. This was reported by the press service of the legislative body of state power of the city.
During the event, which was attended by deputies, methods of delivering and evacuating personnel using the vehicle were demonstrated, as well as the possibilities of shooting work during its operation.
After the tests, the refined version of the vehicle will be sent to the Russian military.
The buggy is 99% made of domestic parts. The car can be repaired in any conditions.
In terms of tactical and technical characteristics, the "Tachanka" has no analogues. The buggy's carrying capacity is 1.5 tons.
The manufacturer plans to increase production of vehicles to 10 units per month.
