According to him, Russia has no problems with intellectual property on key elements of the missile, despite international cooperation.

Our country also receives direct payments for the supply of components, which it ships for an amount of $100 million to $150 million per year. For not the most important product of this wonderful enterprise, this is a very good result with even more optimistic prospects. Because once export contracts begin, production may expand.

As a reminder, BrahMos is one of the fastest cruise missiles in the world, capable of speeds up to Mach 3. According to preliminary data, the carriers of the munition are the Su-30MKI "4++" generation fighters of the Indian Air Force. The munition was jointly developed by the Indian Defense Research and Development Organization and the Russian NPO Mashinostroyenia.
