Russian robot learns to jam drones: unexpected combination tested in combat

NRTK "Courier" goes hunting for drones

Russian military tested a new combination that changes the tactics of dealing with drones. On the basis of the ground robotic complex (NRTK) "Courier", the soldiers tested a mobile electronic warfare station designed to suppress drones.

The military worked out different modes of operation of the station, determined the effective suppression range, and assessed the stability of the complex in conditions of dense radio interference.

Engineers placed the electronic warfare station directly on the robotic platform. The "Courier" robot is capable of operating in the zone of active use of drones, covering positions and supply routes.

The ability to remotely control via various channels allows the station's crew to be at a safe distance without the need for visual monitoring of the work, the Ministry of Defense noted.
