The Russian Ministry of Defense has published footage of the combat use of the new "Courier" robotic platform, equipped with an AGS-17 "Flame" automatic grenade launcher system. The video, filmed during exercises, demonstrates remote control of a combat vehicle capable of firing accurately at targets up to 1.7 km away.
The "Courier" robotic platform, developed as part of the armed forces robotization program, is a tracked chassis with a modular combat unit. This time, the system was supplemented with the proven AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher, known for its high reliability and effectiveness against enemy personnel and light equipment.
Experts note that the introduction of such systems minimizes the risks to personnel during combat operations in urban environments or difficult terrain. The platform can overcome obstacles, transmit video in real time, and receive commands from a remote control point.
