Tver Carriage Works (TVZ, part of Transmashholding) has strengthened its winter cleaning equipment - the enterprise has received a new POM-1 snowplow.
The new equipment will significantly speed up the cleaning of production and surrounding areas from snow and ice, ensuring uninterrupted movement of personnel and transport between workshops, even in conditions of heavy snowfall.
Among the key characteristics of the updated equipment:
- High performance - the machine is equipped with a wide blade and is able to effectively remove even dense snow cover of significant thickness.
- Increased mobility - its own drive with two speed modes, the ability to be towed as part of a railway train and confident operation on slopes.
The snowplow is designed taking into account the specifics of industrial enterprises. It is equipped with a reinforced frame, a reliable hydraulic system for controlling attachments and frost-resistant electronics that are resistant to temperature changes. The design of the equipment ensures high cross-country ability on snowy surfaces, and the ergonomic operator's cab ensures comfort and safety during long work in difficult weather conditions.
POM-1 is a track cleaning machine for mechanized cleaning of tracks from snow and spills inside railway tracks with a gauge of 1520 mm. Also known as "Veterok". The machine has a TRTS-01 certificate, which allows it to carry out work on public railway tracks. It is produced by JSC "Kirov Machine-Building Plant named after May 1".
