The Rosatom State Corporation is actively developing the construction of new power units. This was announced by Natalia Tsvetkova, Director for Project Execution and Planning at the Izhora plant of AEM-Technologies.
In 2025, the state corporation is building more than three dozen new power units.
Today, Rosatom has 39 power units under construction for seven foreign stations. Therefore, there is a very large volume, and we are further increasing our pace.
Rosatom's roadmap until 2045 also outlines tasks related to equipment. Specialists of the state corporation are already trying to solve them.
We want to make equipment for a new generation reactor.
Rosatom continues to implement nuclear power plant projects abroad. These include the construction of the Akkuyu NPP in Turkey, the Rooppur NPP in Bangladesh, the Kudankulam NPP in India, and the construction of power units for two NPPs in China.
The laying of reinforcement for the first concrete began on December 12 at the Hungarian Paks-2 NPP. The pouring of the foundation for the fifth power unit of the station is scheduled for February 5.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the reactor vessel for the fourth unit was delivered to the Akkuyu NPP.
