JSC "Romanov" plans to launch serial production of trucks under the BAZ brand in December 2025. This was announced by the head of the company's marketing department, Alexander Bredikhin.
Preparatory work began in 2024. At that time, JSC "Romanov" installed the necessary lines for a full production cycle.
Serial production will be organized at a site in the "Shushary" industrial zone. The production will produce civilian all-terrain truck chassis.
The main component of the chassis will be transport axles developed on the basis of supplies for military equipment. Dmitry Grechukhin, General Director of JSC "Romanov", noted that in terms of off-road qualities, the new trucks not only do not concede, but also surpass analogues from manufacturers such as Volvo and Mercedes.
