Samara Metallurgical Plant went to court against UAC and its enterprises

PJSC "Samara Metallurgical Plant" (SMZ) has filed a lawsuit against the United Aircraft Corporation (part of the Rostec Group) and a number of enterprises within it. This was reported by the "Obozreniye" publication.

The SMZ lawsuit has been accepted for consideration, the date of the first hearing is not yet known. According to the case materials, the metallurgical plant filed claims due to non-fulfillment of obligations under contracts for the supply of goods.

SMZ has the largest claim directly against UAC — for 242.8 million rubles. The amount of claims against PJSC "Yakovlev" is less — 37.9 million rubles.

Another defendant is PJSC "Il" with a claim for 65.7 million rubles, and the Beriev Aviation Plant was presented with claims for 23.9 million rubles.

It should be recalled that UAC includes enterprises aimed at the production of both civil and military aviation. The former includes the promising MS-21, SJ-100, Il-114-300, LMS-901 "Baikal", modernized Il-114-300, Il-96-400 aircraft. The latter includes Su-57 and Su-35S fighters, and Tu-160M "White Swan" long-range strategic bombers.

This is far from the first lawsuit against UAC structures. The most high-profile was the dispute between PJSC "Tupolev" and "Tatneft" for 11.7 billion rubles.
