Large-Scale SSJ-100 Operators' Symposium Held in Krasnodar: The Future of Domestic Regional Aviation Discussed

These aircraft account for 12% of Russia's total passenger traffic

The annual symposium, bringing together key players in the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft ecosystem, has concluded in Krasnodar. The event gathered over 250 in-person participants from 65 Russian companies, with an additional 60 specialists joining online. The venue hosted 40 technical and strategic reports dedicated to the operation, support, and development of the SSJ-100 fleet.

For the first time in the forum's history, direct dialogue sessions were organized between representatives of airlines, development engineers, and maintenance service providers. According to Vladimir Donchenko, Director of Customer Relations at PJSC "Yakovlev" (part of UAC), this format allowed for the identification of pressing issues and the outlining of joint solutions.

Today, the Superjet 100 fleet provides up to 12% of the passenger traffic of all Russian airlines. This is not just statistics — it is a real contribution to the development of regional air transportation
Alexander Dolotovsky, Director of the "Regional Aircraft" branch

Particular attention was drawn to the expansion of the circle of domestic suppliers involved in import substitution and the repair of previously imported components. Compared to previous years, their number has increased several times, which, according to experts, indicates the formation of a new segment in the aftermarket service of Russian aviation equipment.

The symposium confirmed the steady trend towards localization and technological independence in the maintenance of the SSJ-100, and also strengthened interaction between all participants in the aviation industry.
