The MC-21-310 prototype with serial number 0013 successfully passed the exam during additional certification tests in Zhukovsky. This was announced by the aircraft commander, test pilot of PJSC "Yakovlev" (part of the United Aircraft Corporation of the Rostec State Corporation) Oleg Mutovin.
According to him, the flight was successful, the crew completed the flight mission, and all domestically produced systems worked perfectly.
Today, flights were performed for stability and controllability, with reaching maximum extreme angles of attack, at minimum speeds, at various altitudes. In general, I believe that the aircraft passed its first exam, there is still a lot of work ahead.
Mutovin added that the characteristics of the aircraft 0013, according to the conclusion of the test pilot of the Aviation Register, practically do not differ from the characteristics of the aircraft that passed the initial certification.
As a reminder, the aircraft is already equipped with a wing made of Russian polymer composite materials and PD-14 engines.
