The Russian office of the Chinese company BAIC has updated the prices for two of its car models. The configurations of the BAIC U5 Plus sedan with a CVT have become cheaper, while the price of the BJ60 SUV, on the contrary, has increased.
The price list for the 2024 BAIC U5 Plus sedan has disappeared from the official BAIC website in Russia, and the basic Luxury 2025 configuration with a five-speed manual transmission has been left without a price. At the same time, the manufacturer has reduced prices for two 2025 models with a CVT.
Now the initial version of the BAIC U5 Plus - Luxury with a CVT - costs 2,279,000 rubles, which is 49,991 rubles less than before. The top-end Honor configuration is offered for 2,379,000 rubles, which is 45,391 rubles lower than the previous price.
All BAIC U5 Plus, regardless of configuration, are equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 105 horsepower. The basic equipment includes a multi-steering wheel, ABS, front airbags and an information and entertainment system with a 12.3-inch display.
As for the BAIC BJ60 SUV, it is still only available in the Exclusive configuration, but now its price has increased by 90,000 rubles (1.64%). Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that produces 163 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
BAIC brand cars have been produced at the Kaliningrad Avtotor since April 2023.
