The delivery of the "Vasily Oshchepkov" ferry vessel of project CNF11CPD has been postponed to 2027, according to Artem Ogienko, Head of the Strategic Planning and Management Department of the Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Equipment Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
The ferry is being built at the Amur Shipbuilding Plant. The vessel is currently located at the production site in Vladivostok.
According to Artem Ogienko, the delivery dates for the ferry have been pushed back due to a shortage of personnel – there are no problems with financing.
Currently, the plant's team is working on completing the state defense order, and as soon as these orders are completed, employees will switch to completing the ferry.
Construction of the "Vasily Oshchepkov" cargo-passenger ferry of project CNF11CPD began in 2017. The vessel was scheduled to be delivered in 2019, but the deadlines have been repeatedly postponed.
Earlier www1.ru reported that 1.39 billion rubles will be added to complete the "Petropavlovsk" ferry of project CNF22.
