The UPAAB-1500TV-E guided glide bomb, capable of hitting targets protected by reinforced concrete shelters, was presented for the first time at the Dubai Airshow 2025 International Aviation and Space Exhibition.
The product was developed by an enterprise that is part of the Tactical Missiles Corporation, and is a development of the previous version - UPAAB-1500B-E. Unlike its predecessor, which was equipped only with a satellite guidance system, the new model received a television channel, which significantly increases the accuracy of the hit.
The 1.5-ton aerial bomb is designed for use by the latest Russian fighters and has a glide range of up to 50 km. The UPAAB-1500TV-E is designed to destroy underground command posts, aircraft in protected shelters, industrial facilities and launchers. The combined guidance system - inertial, satellite and television - ensures high accuracy of hitting the target.
Earlierwww1.ru reported thatthe Russian Il-76MD-90A(E) arrived at the Dubai Airshow and will once again demonstrate its capabilities.
