Rosaviatsiya, together with the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, plans to hold a meeting with cargo airlines due to problems with their aircraft fleet. This was announced by the head of Rosaviatsiya, Dmitry Yadrov. According to him, the cargo aircraft fleet is at risk of a complete shutdown in the next 3-5 years. The Ministry of Transport has already stated its readiness to discuss support measures for carriers if difficulties are identified.
We see that the current situation with cargo air transportation requires immediate attention. Without modernization and fleet support, a shortage of transportation may arise in the coming years, which will negatively affect logistics and the economy.
It is assumed that the meeting will discuss possible measures of state support, including subsidizing fleet renewal and providing preferential leasing terms for new aircraft. Industry experts emphasize that without such measures, some companies may cease operations, which will create risks for the entire transport chain of cargo transportation within the country and on international routes.
Rosaviatsiya also intends to strengthen control over the technical condition of existing aircraft and accelerate the certification processes for new models for cargo transportation in order to ensure uninterrupted delivery of goods.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian cargo airlines are on the verge of a complete fleet shutdown - there are neither planes nor engines.
