One of the main stars of the Moscow Motor Show-2025 was an unusual motorhome built on the basis of the Volga Trofim semi-frame truck. Engineers gave the car a vintage look, replacing the plumage and doors from GAZ-31105 with classic parts from GAZ-24, after which they installed a comfortable living module on the chassis with a retro-style design.
The new motorhome has a fully equipped living area with modern communications that blend harmoniously with the classic body design.
This approach made it possible to combine nostalgia for Soviet automotive aesthetics and current comfort technologies for travel.
Additionally, the developers note that the project is conceived as a demonstration of the possibilities of deep customization of Russian chassis. "Trofim" received a reinforced base, a redesigned suspension and an expanded electrical system, which makes the model suitable for long autonomous trips.
