Russia has surged ahead in the development of modern weapons systems. This opinion was voiced by the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev.
According to him, the country is ahead of its competitors in terms of the range and accuracy of new models.
Russia is an order of magnitude ahead of its competitors both in the West, in the East, and in the South, or anywhere else, in terms of the development of the most modern types of weapons, both in terms of range and in terms of accuracy.
Kosachev added that attempts to exert pressure do not slow down the development of the domestic military-industrial complex.
On the contrary, they only accelerated the transition to fully Russian solutions and increased the pace of implementation of new systems.
Foreign countries have shown interest in the Russian advanced fifth-generation Su-57 fighter. There are already specific customers for the aircraft, noted the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov.
