The United Engine Corporation (UEC) of the Rostec State Corporation will for the first time present a new turbojet engine at the Dubai Airshow 2025 International Aerospace Exhibition, designed for training, combat training aircraft and advanced unmanned aerial vehicles.
The SM-100 was created in the dimensions of the serial AI-222-25, but features a reduced weight and an increased thrust by a third — up to 3300 kgf.
The design of the power plant allows for a significant increase in service life while reducing thrust requirements, which results in a noticeable reduction in operating costs. A modification for high-altitude, long-endurance UAVs can be developed based on the engine.
In addition, UEC will for the first time show a line of small-sized turbojet engines in the range from 40 to 150 kgf, as well as the RH50 turbogenerator at Dubai Airshow. These units are integrated into Russian drones of various types and can be used in advanced next-generation aircraft.
Also at Dubai Airshow 2025, companies from Russia will present a high-speed Supercam drone, Orlan-30 reconnaissance drones, a bundle of Kalashnikov SKAT-350M and UBB KUB-2E drones, and various modifications of modern Russian aircraft construction.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the AV-112-114 propeller for the Il-114-300 aircraft has confirmed compliance with the requirements of airworthiness standards and received a type certificate.
