This is an important infrastructure facility that will give an additional impetus to the development of the transport and logistics potential of the region and the entire Arctic zone of Russia.
Alexander Tsybulsky, Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region

The commissioning of the Arkhangelsk terminal will expand the company's throughput and technological capabilities, forming the basis for further growth in cargo transportation volumes, increasing the speed and reliability of logistics operations. And the terminal's capacity allows handling more than 200 thousand tons of cargo per year.

The construction of railway tracks with a length of 3.2 km as part of the project implementation is due to the need to introduce additional capacity for unloading and loading wagons of various types of cargo in connection with the growing need for such a service for new Arctic projects of Rosneft, NorNickel, and Novatek.

The construction of a railway terminal is one of the key elements of our company's development strategy. It is here that cargo will receive the necessary transport processing and move to the sea terminals of the Arkhangelsk transport hub for further transportation along the Northern Sea Route.
Ilya Varlamov, General Director of ООО «Полар Транс Порт»

It should be noted that the company merged with "TK Severny Project" this year, which led to the creation of a "Unified Transport Logistics Complex", closing the full cycle of services. The complex includes a railway dead end with a length of 2.5 km, a rear terminal, a sea terminal with berths for two vessels up to 152 meters long each and a draft of 8.2 m, as well as more than 25 ice-class vessels.
