The Kalashnikov Concern has recognized the tracked version of the Tor-M2 SAM system from the Mytishchi Machine-Building Plant (MMZ) as one of the best means for intercepting reconnaissance and strike drones. According to the concern, the Tors demonstrate high efficiency in repelling aerial threats.

Experts note that the Tor-M2 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile system on a tracked chassis combines high maneuverability and cross-country capability, which makes it less vulnerable on rough terrain and allows it to quickly occupy combat positions. "Tors" have repeatedly successfully hit all kinds of military-industrial complex products, the statement said.

For basing and operation, the complex is installed on a GM-5955.15-01 chassis. In this configuration, the vehicle develops a speed of up to 80 km/h on the highway and 30 km/h on the ground; it is suitable for placing equipment and equipment of the SAM system, transporting the complex and providing it with power.

The concern emphasizes that the combination of the Tor-M2 combat vehicle and the GM-5955.15-01 chassis increases the survivability and efficiency of units in countering unmanned reconnaissance and strike assets.
