The company "RM Rail", in cooperation with Abakanvagonmash, has presented a new product - a 6-axle dumpcar for transporting rock and ore in mining quarries. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.
This model has no analogues in the Russian market due to its unique design and operational characteristics.
The prototype of the dumpcar has already passed the tests, including functional body tilting.
The production of pneumatic unloading pipes, which are used in the production of dumpcars, has been mastered. The staff is maximally involved in the new processes: product quality and technological discipline are now a priority. In parallel with the preparation for the serial production of the model, the assembly of the 18-1245 model three-axle bogie has been mastered here.
Currently, Abakan is actively undergoing technical re-equipment for the serial production of dumpcars. The company is purchasing new equipment, manufacturing tooling and fixtures, and forming production flows. Serial production is scheduled to begin in January 2026.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the fleet of freight cars will amount to 1.65 million units by 2028.
