Expert Reports on Modernization Options for Kh-58UShK Missile Shown in Su-57 Weapon Bay

Anti-radar missile will be able to hit targets at a distance of up to 350 kilometers after aeroballistic modification

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has for the first time revealed details of the internal weapons bay of the Su-57 fighter. The published footage, which features a prototype T-50-9 aircraft, has attracted close attention from military analysts. Of particular interest were the Kh-58UShK anti-radar missiles, which, according to experts, have significant potential for further modernization and enhancement of their combat capabilities.

According to experts, the missile has a target engagement range of up to 250 kilometers and is designed to destroy enemy radar stations.

In addition, it is noted that the design and hardware and software base of the Kh-58UShK allow creating an aeroballistic modification with an increased range of up to 300–350 kilometers, which will significantly expand the combat capabilities of the Su-57 in electronic warfare conditions.

Earlier www1.ru reported that UAC showed for the first time the weapons bays on the fifth-generation Su-57 fighter.
