The price of new cars in Russia has increased significantly due to the upcoming increase in the recycling fee. From August to November 2025, the recommended retail prices for cars rose by 2–7%. The actual transaction price in some cases increased by as much as 20%. This was announced by Ilya Petrov, director of the retail sales group "Avilon".
Taking into account the reduction of support programs — trade-in, car loans and other subsidies — the actual growth of transaction prices turned out to be higher and amounted to from 5% to 20%.
Today, the most advantageous offers are presented by the brands Hongqi, Jetour, Belgee, Voyah, as well as Haval, Evolute — cars of both brands are assembled in Russia, as well as hybrid models Rox, Seres and electric vehicles Avatr.
Some manufacturers, such as Exeed, Tank and Hongqi, have reduced prices for a number of models. Discounts are up to 1 million rubles or more.
