Cloudy but warm weather is currently observed in Central Russia. However, according to forecasts, significant cooling and snow are expected next week: from November 10 to 16. This was stated by Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center.
Motorists, especially in Moscow and Central Russia, need to prepare for changing tires. Well, not just prepare, but probably do this tire change this weekend. Because next week the average daily air temperature will become steadily below plus five degrees.
In such weather, frost and ice are possible, especially on the highway.
Meteorologist Alexander Ilyin added that residents of the European part of Russia should not panic because of early forecasts of the upcoming abnormally cold winter, since the accuracy of such predictions is still low. More snow will fall in the winter months, frosts are expected - first weak, then strong and prolonged. Nevertheless, short-term thaws will also periodically appear, the specialist noted.
