The Santa Claus train passed through Moscow before departing on its New Year's journey. This season, the train will start on November 19 from Vladivostok and will make stops in more than 70 cities in Russia. The festive train was "caught" in the lenses on the Moscow Central Circle.
Russian Railways reported that today the train can be seen until 18:00 on the Mytishchi - Danilov section of the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow Railway.
On November 9, the train will undergo a final check before departing from Veliky Ustyug, and the country's main winter wizard, Santa Claus, will become its first passenger.
Tomorrow, he will take on board his main passenger and head to Vladivostok, from where his fifth big trip around Russia will begin. We will also publish the route with all the stops tomorrow.
The Santa Claus train is a festively decorated mobile residence of the main wizard of the New Year. The train has specially decorated carriages: a reception room, a fairy-tale village for games and quests, a stage and a puppet theater for performances, a souvenir shop, a buffet and a restaurant car for tea parties, and sleeping cars for the Santa Claus team of assistants.
It should be noted that the Santa Claus train first started on December 5, 2021, and in four seasons traveled 108 thousand kilometers, and 1 million 740 thousand people came to the stations to meet Santa Claus.
Ticket sales for the festive program on the train and the puppet show will open for the first section of the journey (to Omsk) immediately after the Santa Claus Train departs from Veliky Ustyug on November 9 at 15:00 Moscow time. At the same time, the full train route will be published.
The Santa Claus train will return to Moscow immediately after the New Year.
