Modernized sleeping cars (sleeping car of increased comfort) with horizontal arrangement of seats began to run as part of some passenger trains on routes No. 19/20 Rostov-on-Don — Moscow, No. 11/12 Anapa — Moscow. This was reported by the press service of JSC "Russian Railways".
In the near future, such cars will appear in all trains of these routes.
One sleeping car has 8 compartments with sleeping berths increased to 2 m (16 cm more than a standard sleeping berth). The developers also provided a shower room, equipped with an ironing board, iron and hair dryer.

The supplier of the new sleeping cars is the Moscow enterprise "Vagonremmash". In 2025, the manufacturer will transfer 28 modified cars to Russian Railways.
New type sleeping cars will start running on the following routes:
- Moscow — Novorossiysk
- Moscow — Saransk
- Moscow — Voronezh
- Moscow — Tambov
- Moscow — Belgorod
- Moscow — St. Petersburg
