The United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) presented a line of air cushion vehicles in St. Petersburg, the corporation's press service reported.
Air cushion vehicles are capable not only of transporting people and cargo, but also of performing tasks related to the evacuation of personnel and expensive equipment. Their versatility makes them in demand in infrastructure construction, the development of oil and gas fields, and the delivery of oversized cargo.
TSVP-30 (Project 22620) is a cargo vessel for servicing oil wells with a carrying capacity of up to 30 tons. The range is up to 400 km. It can transport containers and equipment, as well as passengers and mobile medical clinics when specialized modules are installed.
TSVP-60 is a vessel based on Project 12061 "Murena" for transporting oversized cargo with a total weight of up to 60 tons. It can also be used as a cargo-passenger ferry. The range is up to 400 km.
TSVP-150 is a transport vessel with a carrying capacity of up to 150 tons for delivering oversized cargo from roadstead vessels to the shore and along land routes. It can transport structures and block containers for integrated gas treatment units (UKPG) with dimensions up to 18×12×12 m.
Air cushion vehicles of USC projects are an effective solution for year-round transportation of people and cargo on water, ice, swampy terrain, and land routes.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the manufacturer of air cushion vehicles, the Central Design Bureau "Neptune", was declared bankrupt.
