The Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant has published the names of the employees who died in the crash of the Ka-226 helicopter in the area of the village of Achi-Su in the Karabudakhkentsky district of Dagestan. Among them were leading engineers of the concern.
List of the deceased:
- Achalo Magomedov — Deputy General Director of JSC "Concern KEMZ"
- Sergey Suslov — Chief Engineer, Chief Power Engineer
- Sirazhutdin Saaduev — Chief Designer for Helicopter Construction
- Islam Dzhabrailov — Driver
- Petr Surov — Flight Mechanic (died in hospital)
The tragedy occurred on November 7. The Ka-226 was performing a flight from Kizlyar to the "Sunny Beach" recreation center. The administration of the head of the Republic of Dagestan, citing the republican Ministry of Health, reported that two injured people were sent to the Burn Center of the Republican Clinical Hospital.
According to preliminary information, the commander of the aircraft was test pilot Vladimir Andreev. The executive director of the KEMZ concern, Akhmat Akhmatov, was in the place of the second crew member.
Social networks are publishing a video taken a few seconds before the helicopter crash. It is claimed that this is the Ka-226 with employees of the plant.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the crash under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Violation of safety rules for traffic and operation of air transport). Investigators and forensic scientists are working at the scene.
