The crew of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) destroyed a Shark reconnaissance drone with one guided missile. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The department noted that advanced radar equipment allows the crew operators to easily detect aerial targets in their area of responsibility.
High accuracy of combat use allows the crew to eliminate up to 16 enemy air targets using one ammunition load.
As a reminder, the Tor-M2 is designed to cover important administrative facilities from attacks by anti-radar and cruise missiles, as well as small drones.
At the same time, the SAM system can independently control the designated airspace and independently shoot down all air targets not identified by the "friend-or-foe" system.
