The management of FSUE "Rosmorport" received a classification certificate with the sign of the category MAS (marine autonomous surface vessel) for the bilge water collecting vessel "Koporye" (project RST38). This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
The vessel is designed for collecting, settling and separating oily waters, as well as for pumping waste oil products into a waste tank.
The press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping explained that during the tests, the declared characteristics of the autonomous navigation systems of "Koporye" were confirmed, as well as the possibility of control from the Remote Control Center (RCC).

- Length — 49.21 m
- Width — 8.82 m
- Draft — 3 m
- Speed — 9 knots
- Total volume of tanks for bilge and oily waters — 515 cubic meters
- Crew — 6 people
RCC is a department whose employees manage all the functions of the MAS, including monitoring the vessel's equipment and coordinating actions in emergency situations. The introduction of MAS into Russian shipping reduces operating costs by up to 25% and increases the efficiency of all processes.
