At the International Exhibition "Neva-2025", the company "Navis" presented a small-sized unmanned vessel (MNS) of the "Sardina" project. The vessel is capable of operating autonomously for 24 to 30 hours, making it attractive for various applications.
This is an in-house development of "Navis" in collaboration with "Kompan marin", which manufactures the hull. The presented specimen is a working prototype. It has partially undergone sea trials, the results of which revealed a number of necessary improvements in terms of motion control. This specimen is equipped with an echo sounder, and appropriate measurements were taken during the tests.
Resource extraction, research, and hydrographic enterprises are showing interest in the development. This opens up new horizons for the use of MNS in monitoring, research, and resource extraction tasks in water bodies.
The vessel is capable of carrying out hydrographic works and surveying the seabed and underwater objects in water areas of IV category of complexity, I class (sea area and inland water basin with a maximum wave height of 3.0 m) with a maximum distance from the base of 20 miles.
Technical characteristics of the "Sardina" vessel:
- Length - 5.75 m.
- Width - 1.2 m.
- Standard displacement - 1.2 t.
- Load capacity - up to 200 kg (including an unmanned underwater drone and an unmanned aerial vehicle).
The vessel is equipped with a water jet propulsion unit with an all-aspect nozzle and two thrusters. The equipment also includes a complex of technical equipment (lidars, radars, and cameras).
Earlier,www1.ru reported that the carrier of unmanned underwater vehicles, the minesweeper "Afanasy Ivannikov",arrived in Polyarny.
