The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has delivered a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Ministry of Defense as part of the implementation of the State Defense Order. The aircraft have passed all the necessary factory tests and have been accepted by the crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
The Su-34 is designed to engage ground, surface and air targets, including objects protected by air defense systems, at a considerable distance from the base airfield. In addition, the aircraft is capable of performing aerial reconnaissance tasks, making it a versatile tool for conducting modern combat operations.
Regular deliveries of the Su-34 are important for maintaining the combat capability of the Russian front-line aviation. Reliability, flight range and versatility of weapons allow to effectively solve the tasks of both destroying air targets and pinpoint strikes on protected infrastructure at a considerable distance from the base.
