According to him, this level was achieved thanks to the development of unique closed nuclear cycle technologies, which are actively implemented at domestic enterprises.

In the future, by 2030, there will be no spent fuel technologies at all. It will be completely recycled and loaded into a nuclear power plant as new fuel.

It should be reminded that spent fuel from reactors enters special enterprises, where plutonium and uranium are extracted. These elements are purified and returned to production, which reduces the burden on the environment and saves raw materials.
