Two powerful flares were recorded on the Sun on November 3. This was reported by the press service of the Institute of Applied Geophysics (FSBI "IPG").
At 13:11 Moscow time, an M5.0 flare (N22E84) lasting 60 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range. At 12:25 Moscow time, an M1.6 flare (N26E82) lasting 61 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range.
The Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the IKI and ISZF also reported that the M5.0 flare is the strongest solar event since September 28, 2025. Experts predict further growth in flare activity.
