Two powerful flares were recorded on the Sun on November 3. This was reported by the press service of the Institute of Applied Geophysics (FSBI "IPG").
At 13:11 Moscow time, an M5.0 flare (N22E84) lasting 60 minutes was registered in the X-ray range. At 12:25 Moscow time, an M1.6 flare (N26E82) lasting 61 minutes was registered in the X-ray range.
The Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the IKI and ISZF also reported that the M5.0 flare is the strongest solar event since September 28, 2025. Experts predict a further increase in flare activity.
