Training flights of the ZALA T-16 drone were conducted at the Vostochny Cosmodrome. This was reported by the manufacturer's press service.
The ZALA T-16 aircraft-type unmanned system (UAS), equipped with optical and thermal imaging equipment, allows for remote inspection of vast and hard-to-reach areas at any time of the day. According to operators, the time to bring the system into operation does not exceed 15 minutes.
The ZALA T-16 spent over four hours in the air. The aircraft-type UAS moved away from the launch point to a distance of over 75 km.
Specialists from the space center worked on tasks related to controlling the ZALA T-16 UAS, which are used to monitor the areas where the separating parts of launch vehicles fall.
During the training, the software of the unmanned system was tested in different conditions.
