The authorities of the Samara region have decided to extend tax benefits for AvtoVAZ, allowing the auto giant not to pay income tax until the end of 2028. The decision was made in the Samara Provincial Duma and is aimed at supporting companies participating in special investment contracts.
Sergey Tishin, acting Minister of Industry of the region, emphasized that such benefits will help AvtoVAZ avoid unnecessary borrowing. He believes that this will provide the company with stability and opportunities for further development.
According to forecasts, the lost revenue from tax benefits for AvtoVAZ in 2026 will amount to 133 million rubles.
