The unmanned hydrographic complex "Kalan" is a joint development of VNIIGOCHS and the scientific and production enterprise "Fort XXI". It can operate for up to 8 hours without recharging, sail to a distance of up to 5 km, and operate in autopilot mode at a distance of up to 35 km from the operator.

The complex is equipped with high-precision instruments of innovative technologies - an echo sounder SKAT-200M, a side-scan sonar, a sound velocity meter and other equipment, and can be used in various fields where reliable monitoring of objects on the water is required.

Earlier, NPP "Fort XXI" successfully completed pilot tests and launched into mass production complexes for surveying underwater crossings based on the unmanned complex "Kalan".
