The Belgee automaker from Belarus is increasing car production, focusing on the Russian market. More than 80% of the car factory's products are sent to Russia.
To increase production, the company's engineers carried out a large-scale modernization of the plant. 48 robotic complexes were installed, and painting and mastic application areas were automated. The main updates also affected welding shops, where new equipment was installed to increase the share of automation.
The modernization is due to the fact that in 2024 the demand for Belgee cars has increased dramatically. Last year, the company produced more than 91,000 cars, and in 2025 it plans to exceed this figure.
Among the company's main priorities is the development of electric vehicles, with the Geely EX5, Geely EX2 and the Belgee X80 hybrid already presented.
