The Moskvich plant has announced its production plans for 2026. It is known that the automaker will update its existing line of cars and introduce new models. This was announced by the company's Commercial Director, Andrey Vladimirtsev, at the CarXL 2025 forum.
According to him, the Moskvich 3 and Moskvich 3e crossovers will receive new combined body color options. The company aims to expand the color palette and attract new customers.
The Moskvich cars produced in Russia are adapted models from the Chinese company JAC. The most popular model in the domestic company's lineup is the Moskvich 3 crossover, which is a licensed version of the JAC JS4. The launch of production of the new Moskvich cars took place in November 2022 at the former Renault plant.
Earlier, insiders reported that the plant's production facilities could start producing crossovers from the SAIC concern. This refers to the MG HS. It was claimed that the car has already received a vehicle type approval certificate in Russia, which allows for the production and sale of the model on the Russian market. There has been no official confirmation of this information.
