Railway to be "extended" from Russia to Vietnam

Russia and Vietnam are discussing the possibility of creating a railway connection. This was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk.

The idea of establishing a railway connection with Vietnam through China and Mongolia is being implemented. All this works to improve the connectivity of our two countries.

The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that work is underway to improve logistics and connections between the ports of the Russian Far East and Vietnam. This will speed up trade and strengthen economic ties.
