The fully Russian dual-system electric train "Finist" of the ES105 series made its first passenger trip on the Yekaterinburg — Druzhinino — Krasnoufimsk route. This was reported by the press service of the Sverdlovsk Railway.
ES105 is the second modification in the new line of high-speed trains created on the basic "Finist" platform at the "Ural Locomotives" plant in Verkhnyaya Pyshma.
2 ES105 trains will run on this route, replacing the "Lastochka" trains.
Features of the "Finist" ES105 electric trains:
- Consists of 5 cars — 386 seats
- Soft seats are equipped with USB connectors for charging gadgets
- Three sanitary modules in the car
- Microclimate and air disinfection system
- The train is equipped with lifts for passengers with reduced mobility
- Number of seats for people with disabilities — 4
- There is a place for sports equipment (bicycle, skis, snowboard)
- Russian components
The ES105 series electric train for operation with any type of current was developed on the ES104 platform. The average acceleration of the "Finist" (up to 60 km/h) is 0.7 m/s², the design speed is up to 160 km/h.
