The "Ural Locomotives" plant has produced the three-thousandth bogie for a high-speed electric train. It was installed on the electric train "Finist" ES 104 No. 041. This was reported by the press service of the enterprise.
The bogie is the main element of the undercarriage of a car, on which its body rests. In conditions of high speeds and dynamic loads, special requirements are imposed on the bogies of high-speed trains. This applies to both the quality of the frame welding and the accuracy of manufacturing and assembly of all component parts.
Russian traction equipment is installed on the bogie, capable of providing rapid acceleration of the train to 160 km/h and effective braking.
The production of bogies for high-speed trains requires high qualifications and modern technologies. This allows ensuring safety and reliability in the operation of rolling stock.
