The video, published on October 22 by the Telegram channel "Avtomaniya", shows a Geely Atlas crossover on a car carrier with Volga emblems on the radiator grille and wheel disks, while the Geely Design inscription remained on the bumper.
Earlier, the Telegram channel "Russian Automobile" reported that new Volga cars could be created on the basis of Geely. At the same time, representatives of the company and the Chinese partner called this information rumors.
The first presentation of the revived Volga brand took place in the spring of 2024: the cars were made on the basis of Changan models.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov clarified that the production of cars under the Volga brand may begin in the spring of 2026.
